I know there are so many Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing reviews out there but I thought I’d write my own. After all, we all have our own unique ideas and opinions!
When I first started The Inspired Boss, I knew that affiliate marketing was going to be the main source of income, especially in the first few years. Surprisingly though, I didn’t know that much about it! I was going in blind and I needed some (read: a lot of) direction!
I knew roughly what it was but was so overwhelmed about how to actually make it happen. How to sign up to programs, how to get people to the products and how to actually make a living from it.

Off I went to my two amazing friends, Google and Pinterest.
I quickly came across Michelle from the Making Sense of Cents blog and Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. I was so inspired by her story and business. She makes over $50,000 each MONTH from affiliate marketing alone.
When I read that, I knew that I had to learn from her! It was actually a no-brainer and I signed up immediately. I hadn’t even launched the business but could see that she had so much wisdom to share.
I can honestly say, it’s been one of the most valuable investments I’ve made. It’s also the quickest course I’ve paid back the amount the purchase price, from using the techniques within the course. That in itself is a reason to snap it up!
Within my first month of blogging, I made $96.50 from affiliate products. To be honest, I was blown away. I quickly realised that that’s not normal for a new business and I honestly put that success down to Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. My income has grown from there over the last 2 years, of which 90% comes from affiliate marketing and I now make around $1000/month from affiliate marketing.
Without this course, I know that the growth of my business would have much slower and I’m not even sure I would have continued if I hadn’t had that success at the beginning.
Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing is still one of my favourite courses to date!
My Honest Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing Review
Michelle teaches you everything you need to know about affiliate marketing to get started, grow your business and increase your revenue. She has a wealth of knowledge and is incredibly generous in what she gives her students. On top of that, she is continually updating and adding bonuses to the course. That’s so important when dealing in an industry that is ever-changing. It’s one of those courses that keeps on giving!
Here’s a breakdown of Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing:
Module 1: What is Affiliate Marketing?
In this module, Michelle gives you a rundown of what affiliate marketing is. I know that this might seem basic to most of you but it’s an easy recap for you if it is.
Module 2: How to Find and Apply to Affiliate Programs.
This was something that I found so incredibly daunting! I didn’t know how to navigate it but Michelle walks you through how to find them and gives you the confidence to reach out to businesses and ask about their programs and apply. Honestly, this module saved me a ton of time in research and googling.
Module 3: Follow the Rules
This is where you learn all about the do’s and don’ts. I didn’t quite realise there were so many rules but I get it now. I’m so glad I learnt these at the beginning of my affiliate marketing journey. It would be a huge task to change things further down the track.
Module 4: How to Get Your Readers to Convert
This is the nuts and bolts of affiliate marketing. At the end of the day, this is why you’re doing what you doing. The aim is to make an income and getting your readers to convert is how you’re going to do it! There’s so much more to it than just putting a few links in your blog posts. Michelle gives a very thorough guide to get your readers to convert. Again, I’m so glad I took this course at the beginning of this crazy journey.
Module 5: Strategies and Ways to Promote Your Affiliate Links
It’s one thing to include them in your blog posts, socials and emails but it’s another thing to actually get eyes on them! This is where you learn to do just that. And to do it extremely well. I have followed the course to a tee and am so surprised how well her strategies are working! It’s certainly exceeded my expectations!
Module 6: Rinse and Repeat
This module goes through growing your brand, audience and income. How being consistent and building trust is a central factor in creating your business.
