How to become a Doterra Wellness Advocate

In this post, I’m going to give you an overview of why doterra could be right for you, my experience within doterra and how you can a doterra wellness advocate and get started!

 

Before we dive into why becoming a doterra wellness advocate might be for you, I’m going to talk about MLM businesses.

I know that they get a bad wrap. I was often the one judging them.

It was something that I didn’t ever think I would do, not in a million years! I thought it was so spammy and just not for me.

On the other hand, I had friends that were doing create things within doterra. They were earning 6 and 7 figures and it really made me think about why I was so opposed to it. The best thing about being challenged like that is I was able to work through so many money blocks!

I know there are some very spammy network marketers out there, just like in any business model but I did come to a few realisations about MLM businesses.

For one, they usually have a low barrier to entry, meaning it doesn’t cost you much to get started and there are minimal ongoing business expenses compared to other businesses.

The other thing is that it’s very similar to affiliate marketing which is the main generator of income in The Inspired Boss.

Once I thought about it, I thought it would be great to add to my business to create another income stream. I’m a huge fan of having multiple income streams so that I’m not reliant on any one income stream. In fact, I think that everyone should have multiple income streams and aim to get to the point that if any of them were to go away tomorrow, your lifestyle wouldn’t be impacted.

They’re the reasons that I decided to dive into network marketing, your reasons might be different but if you do have blocks around generating income from an MLM company, I challenge you to think about why and see if you can get through those blocks.

When choosing the business to work with, it was a no brainer for me. I chose to work with doterra. There are a few reasons that we’ll look at next.

 

Why doTERRA?

There are many network marketing companies out there. It’s your job to go through the available companies and see what would suit you the best. The reason that I chose doterra was that I was using and loving the products for years before diving in. I was already naturally sharing them with others and could stand behind the products with 100% confidence.

It wasn’t until I researched a bit more and discovered that doterra offers so much more than essential oils and is one of the more generous MLM companies when it comes to earnings. On top of this, it ticked the big box for me, to be location independent. This is the ultimate goal for me so I can’t be holding stock and need to send it out to customers. The other main component of doterra that really resonated with me is that they support local farmers to help them within their own communities and they have the Healing Hands Foundation which supports numerous projects including anti-human trafficking, disaster relief and micro-lending opportunities.

It’s a business with solid foundations as well as ethical and sustainable practices.

When you’re researching network marketing companies, you also want to investigate your options when it comes to who you enrol under. You want to make sure you’re working with someone that will support you and help you create the business you want, whatever that might be. You want to make sure the person you’re working with has extensive experience with the products as well as business. How to become a doterra wellness advocate

Now that we’ve been through doterra and what I can offer you, the next thing to do is to sign up with doterra and start your business!

Step 1:

Click here to get to my unique doterra page. (Please note that it’s important that you use this link and sign up under me if you want to benefit from working with me)

That link will take you to the page shown below. Simply click ‘Join & Save’

 

Step 2:

You will land on this page where you’ll select your language and which country your products will be shipped to.

Press continue.

 

Step 3:

Either select ‘Local’ or ‘International’. The local option will be the country that you selected above.

Step 4:

If you’re signing up to start a business, then you must choose ‘Wellness Advocate’. If you’re signing up to be able to purchase products, then select ‘Wholesale Customer’.

 

Step 5:

Enter your details.

Continue to the end of the page and click ‘Continue’.

 

Step 6:

Select your ‘Enrollment Kit’. This is your first purchase and one that will give you products to get started with. Like all businesses, you want to know your products well. These kits give you a great place to start! As a wellness advocate, you’ll need to be placing orders on a monthly basis so you’ll get a good supply of oils and other products.

Note that kits will vary from country to coutnry. I’m showing you enrollment kits from Australia.

The most popular enrollment kit to get started with is the ‘Home Essentials Enrollment Kit’. This gives you the top 10 oils and a diffuser.

The other option, which is better value, is the Natural Solutions Enrollment Kit. It gives you a larger volume of essential oils as well as the most popular products, like Ice Blue Gel and the Foaming Hand Wash.

You need to choose a kit that best suits your budget and circumstance.

Step 7:

Once you’ve selected your enrollment kit, you’ll go through the payment options and receive an order confirmation.
